The Nike Air Max Scorpion FK Barely Volt incorporates performance textiles usually found in sportswear. It incorporates bubble-like cushioning underfoot that spans the entire length of the shoe.
The upper is made of flexible, lightweight Flyknit, which allows the foot to breathe while creating a seamless design. The knit material boasts several different textures, including a loose weave that creates the illusion of perforations and a line-like pattern that stretches vertically up the side panels. These lines make up the background behind the Swoosh. What makes the sneaker stand out is the exaggerated cushioning underfoot made from a series of semi-translucent Air units. Although the shoe features a colorway of Cargo Khaki, Jade Horizon, Barely Volt, and Sequoia, the upper is dominated by dark tones, and the Air units come in Barely Volt’s lime green hue.
